April 2025
Welcome to the Third Edition of the Logosophy Newsletter!
We are truly delighted to have you with us, and we hope this message brings you valuable insights for reflection, growth, and improvement.
In this edition, we’re excited to share something special — the Logosophical Foundation participated in the Expo Brazil in Orlando, Florida, which happened on April 12 and 13! This event was a fantastic opportunity to connect with others who share an interest in Brazilian culture, innovation, self-improvement, and the ideas that drive us forward.
If you enjoy our newsletter, we’d love for you to share it with friends and encourage them to subscribe. It’s a great way to spread the positive ideas we explore here at Logosophy.
As always, each edition will feature excerpts from the logosophical bibliography, along with thought-provoking questions for your personal reflection. We’ll also keep you updated on upcoming talks and activities that we believe could be of interest to you.
Your feedback matters to us! If you have any reflections or suggestions, please don’t hesitate to reply to this email. We appreciate hearing from you and will respond as soon as we can.
Lastly, remember that our logosophical bibliography is available for free in PDF format on our website. We hope you find it beneficial in your journey of self-improvement.
Thank you for being part of our community!
Warm regards,
The Logosophical Foundation Team.

The unwanted visitor
At times, I find myself with an unwanted visitor who walks around my mind with the intention of taking control of a place that’s not its property.
I know that every time it comes, it tells me the same story, over and over again…
I already know how it goes and how it ends; I know all the details.
It goes away once it gets what it wants, leaving a mess behind. And I have to clean up and put everything back together.
How many times are we going to clean up after it?
Why do I always open the door when it shows up, or even do things that I know attract it to my house?
It’s not about feeling guilty for letting that happen over and over again. I just need to let it know that it is unwanted. It’s time to take back control of my own house, as it’s supposed to be.
This unwanted visitor is an intrusive thought that makes me work against my evolution goals.
It’s not easy, but I learnt that I can get ready in advance and gather all the elements to start to see it from far away.
And every time I do, I’m setting up one more stone in order to build the fort that will let me take back control of my mind and make it my own again.
By Jair Fuquene
“Life is a mirror that reflects what the individual thinks and does or what his own thoughts or extraneous ones make him do.”
“Logosophy has situated the problem of the human being in the mind and it is there that it solves this problem with striking clarity and stimulating force. It does not transfer the central problem, as is commonly done with questions of this kind, to the expanded field of the imagination. It states and shows in reality the basic elements of the conception which specifically defines the mind as the organ that promotes the psychic life of the individual and the thoughts as its main agents.”
Excerpts from the book The Mechanism of Conscious Life by González Pecotche, pp. 50 & 80.
