A New Horizon: XV International Logosophy Conference Illuminates the Path to a New Culture for Humanity<\/h1>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

From October 3 to 5, the XV International Logosophy Conference<\/strong> gathered over 100 members of the Logosophical Foundation in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, for a powerful and deeply meaningful event, celebrating 45 years of Logosophy in North America and 30 years of the Logosophy Study Center in Miami. These days of profound study and invigorated interchange served as a vibrant testament to our shared commitment to the Process of Conscious Evolution. Attendees, united in an atmosphere of affection and mutual respect, collaborated in the unique experimental setting that our Cultural Centers provide, embodying the very essence of Logosophy: to consciously evolve one\u2019s qualities through knowledge and from within oneself.<\/p>

The central focus of the conference\u2014the development of a new culture for humanity<\/strong>\u2014resonated deeply with every participant. By sharing experimental results and interchanging different perspectives, participants collectively explored the profound knowledge necessary to foster a more responsible and lucid humanity, one capable of shaping a superior destiny. This collective work reaffirms our conviction that Logosophy is the science of the present and the future, offering a new way of conceiving life, thinking, and feeling, which is necessary to lift the human spirit well above the prevailing materiality of our times. The energy generated in Fort Lauderdale is a powerful stimulus for the continued internal work of every student.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\u201cThe Logosophical Pedagogy is the pedagogy of well-saying, of well-thinking, the pedagogy of happiness because while it teaches, it makes one happy.\u201d Gonz\u00e1lez Pecotche, 1962.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Logosophical Pedagogy is an original pedagogical approach based on Logosophy, which, in its conception, provides knowledge that enables human beings to evolve and contribute to a better humanity. It stands out for a new line of knowledge that acts directly on the causes, favoring one\u2019s integral formation, and covering life\u2019s multiple aspects: moral, mental, and spiritual. Logosophical Pedagogy involves a comprehensive analysis of the human being, describing the function of one\u2019s inner world from childhood to adulthood.<\/p>

Its imminently constructive work deals with important aspects of spiritual reality, such as the functioning of the mental system, of its faculties, thoughts, sensibility, sensitive faculties, the instinctive system, and the mechanism of the will, among others. By favoring students with the knowledge of their inner reality, it also allows linking this knowledge to one\u2019s own life. For that, one applies the logosophical method, which requires \u201cexperiencing what one studies and studying what one experiences\u201d, as well as constant attention to everything that happens within oneself, seeking gradual improvement and becoming an active participant in the changes promoted in one\u2019s psychology, temperament, and character, thus building a better future on solid foundations.<\/p>

For the educator who applies this pedagogy, the task of educating becomes even more noble, as it implies working within oneself and with others. How? Learning and teaching that one can improve each day, in everything one intends to accomplish, especially by recognizing the resources that each individual possesses within themselves. By understanding these resources\u2014such as intelligence, feelings, will, values, and many others\u2014educators and students begin to experiment with the more conscious use of their inner forces. Observing their own conduct and the thoughts that act behind one\u2019s words, gestures, or behaviors, recalling that life\u2019s objective is to learn and to teach, everyone strives to have more elevated behaviors in the various areas of life.<\/p>

\u201cWhat Logosophical Pedagogy presents to education is something that transcends the teachings of Mathematics, Geography, Languages, and so on. Each area of knowledge has its own importance, and the proposal is to simultaneously offer an excellent curriculum along with transcendent knowledge which are fundamental for life.\u201d<\/p>

All this work should be based on the example of the educator who strives to obtain the knowledge to transmit to the students.<\/p>

The proposal is to carry all this with joy, promoting the unity of two forces: knowledge and affection.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

A Heartfelt Return to Education:\nInsights from the 1st International Congress of Logosophical Pedagogy (2023)<\/h1>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

For over 20 years, I have been dedicated to the children’s sector at the Logosophical Foundation in Curitiba, Brazil. Then, the Foundation\u2019s decision to open a school rekindled a deep vocational calling. I realized that I had forgotten a significant part of myself after 22 years of government work, but deep down, the connection to children has always remained.<\/p>

The School’s Commission of Curitiba has diligently studied the importance of a Logosophical School, and I am now able to dedicate my life to working with children, fostering a profound connection with their spirits, and striving to enrich their lives.<\/p>

This Pedagogy was particularly special for me, and if I had to choose one central theme, it would be the exercise of affection in teaching, correcting, and connecting with children’s spirits. As Gonz\u00e1lez Pecotche teaches:<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

One powerful experience of the Logosophical Pedagogy highlighted the importance of superior knowledge in education. When children needed to use “Amber’s leaves” for an activity, the teacher expressed that cutting them would cause Amber to “suffer.” This provided a valuable opportunity to explain to the children that, just like their hair, cutting leaves does not cause pain or suffering; sometimes, it is necessary for growth. This experience demonstrated that while good intentions are crucial, superior knowledge makes it easier to avoid errors. I am learning that the idea of a “suffering culture” is not natural; we can indeed live happily with joyful moments.<\/p>

From an early age, I knew I wanted two things in life: to be a mother and a teacher. It could be due to observing my mother, who was a teacher and owned a preschool, or it could be a vocation I inherited. I loved that world! And that is precisely what I chose for my life: first my profession, and then the experience of motherhood.<\/p>

I have 38 years of experience in the field of education. I am a child educator and have always sought to study and improve myself in this field. When I joined the Logosophical Foundation and learned about Logosophical Pedagogy, the Foundation’s Children and Adolescent Sector, and even Logosophical Schools across Brazil, Argentina, and Uruguay, I was enchanted and enormously stimulated. I needed to learn about this new world that was opening before me.<\/p>

As soon as I joined, I requested to collaborate with the Foundation’s children’s sector in S\u00e3o Paulo. A little later, my mother and I interned in Belo Horizonte to see the Logosophical Schools there. I wanted to see how Logosophical Pedagogy was applied in childhood. It was a wonderful experience! I realized that this Pedagogy needed to be applied first to myself, and then to the child. This is nothing more than the realization of the Process of Conscious Evolution. What I learned for my own improvement, I could then teach to children in a language suitable for them.<\/p>

Through ongoing experiences, it is evident how an educator equipped with Logosophical pedagogy can profoundly impact a child’s life.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

“Logosophical teaching establishes that everything a human being thinks and does must, necessarily, be influenced by that inner force called affection, and teaches that all study must be carried out with an altruistic feeling, so that individual effort contributes to the elevation and happiness of the human race.”<\/p>

Logosophical Pedagogy emphasizes the Educator and changing the world, powerfully stressing the responsibility and importance of teachers in a student’s life. It is about transforming, overcoming challenges, and fostering happiness. This role transcends the ordinary; it is truly an education for the spirit, creating conditions for the spirit to remain present in the lives of children and adolescents.<\/p>

The image presented at the Congress to illustrate the teacher’s role in a student’s life, Newton’s disk, resonated deeply with me. Newton’s disk, a well-known physics experiment, consists of a colorful disk with the primary colors of the visible spectrum. When it spins at high speed, it demonstrates the composition of white light. I understood that the continuous movement of the teacher generates this “white light” that illuminates a student’s life.<\/p>

Finally, children from Logosophical schools are always encouraged to make drawings or notes to express themselves. During the Congress, I received a letter from a child to be opened at an opportune moment, which was incredibly moving. Upon opening and reading it, I was deeply touched by the child’s expression of how vital her teacher was in her life. This only further fueled my desire to continue making a difference in the lives of the children I have the privilege of interacting with.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
